7th grade students are working on cartoons with exaggeration. They will be working on them in class and taking them home to work on.

8th grade students have a take home test due today. Grades are closing in 2 days. Any work they may have to make up needs to be in soon.

8th grade students are working on a U.S. Map of the time period we are studying. They can start it in class and take home to complete. This is due on Thursday, 1/18/18.
7th grade students have been assigned JS "Why We Can't Wait" handout with questions to answer. They also have been assigned the MLK article on the JS website and the core question to answer as well. They can answer this on the back of the handout or use their laptops. Students will have time to work on it in class. If needed they can take it home to finish. This is due on Thursday 1/18/18.

7th grade students are working on geography skills. They have two handouts to complete for Tuesday. Some students have chosen to redo a take home quiz from last week. That will be due on Tuesday as well.

8th grade students are working on two handouts. One on Saudi Arabia and women driving. The other is about Puerto Rico.

8th grade students are to read pages 18-21 in their JS magazine and complete the handout that accompanies that reading.

7th grade students are to complete the 2 handouts on geography. Afghanistan and European Union. These are Physical, Economic and Political Maps.

Students have been assigned p. 10-13 "Are We Defeating ISIS?" in their JS magazine to read. They also have been given a handout to complete that was started in class. It is due on Tuesday.
