Students in 8th grade were studying the 8th Amendment in class today. They have a reading and writing assignment due Wed. on the 8th Amendment.

7th grade students were studying minimum wage and doing a map and almanac scavenger hunt that is due Wed.

It is vacation time! Students are getting in any work that may be late. They are making up quizzes etc. If any student owes me work they need to get it in before vacation. I hope everyone has a restful vacation.

In preparation for Black History month we have studied the 54th Mass. Regiment, Harriet Tubman, The Little Rock Nine, Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and the Tuskegee Airmen.

8th grade students have been assigned a review for chapter #18, due Friday.

7th grade students have been assigned a story on Jackie Robinson in their JS magazine. Due Friday.

7th grade student are reading the article about slaves on pages 14-17 in their JS magazine.
They have a handout to complete and need to answer the 10 questions on page 17 on the back of the handout. Due Wed.

8th grade student are reading section #4 of chapter #18. They have a handout to complete over section #4 for Wed.

8th grade students are working on a MLK handout and reading an article on MLK for Tuesday.


7th grade students are reviewing and reading a play on Harriet Tubman in class.
